Potato picking time! Here's one of the giants of the year. It makes Hubby's hands look small, doesn't it? His hands are definitely not small, though. It's all an illusion!

i have a girlfriend here whose dad lives in idaho & grows potatos. sometimes they need only 1 potato to make a side of, well, mashed potato i guess.
I always mean to plant more fall crops. It's sad when the garden is done for the year. (We still have carrots and green tomatoes but that's it.)
